Retention automation,approved by you.
Approve each move, or set rules once with limits. Locked moves always ask and one switch pauses everything.
Customer retention automation lets saves, follow-ups and win-backs run without doing each one by hand.
To stay in control, keep two modes: approve each move, or set rules with conditions and limits that preview who they touch. Lock risky moves so they always ask, and keep one switch that pauses everything. North Metric works this way.
Approveeach move.
Approving each move is the default for every move type. When churn prediction marks a customer at risk, you get one drafted move with the reason.
Set a rule once,with limits.
A rule pairs conditions (customer type, $/mo range, reason, move type) with limits, and previews who it would act on before it goes live.
Moves thatalways ask.
These moves ask first even when a rule matches, unless noted below. Some are locked to Owners and Admins.
One switchpauses everything.
One switch stops every pending and automatic move at once. Pages your customers already have, like card-update links, keep working.
Before anything is sent or changed, North Metric checks Stripe again, live.
If the customer already fixed their card or undid the cancel, the move closes as “Resolved on its own”.
Every automated run is logged with the rule behind it.
What North Metric can read and change in Stripe is set out on our security page. Changes in Stripe also need actions on, which only an Owner can turn on in Settings.

Questions aboutapprovals.
Yes, within limits you set: a maximum percent, a duration and once per customer. Anything above your max is locked and waits for an Owner or Admin. During the trial, every move asks first.
